Treatment for persons accessing child exploitation material explicitly targets risk factors empirically associated with sexual offending and with recidivism, such that risk of re-offending may be reduced.

As a forensic clinic, our psychologists are highly skilled and experienced with providing treatment for clients that addresses the behaviours related to accessing this material.

We use cognitive-behavioural treatment focussing on changing behaviour, a person’s ways of thinking and their associated feelings, using a skills-based approach, with the aim of preventing relapse.

We provide treatment sessions in our clinic at Paddington, Brisbane or remotely across Australia using specialist highly secure Australian telehealth software.

Our 1 hour sessions are $220 and Medicare rebates apply with a Mental Health Care Plan from a GP or specialist.

Persons from eligible regional or remote communities with a Mental Health Care Plan will receive a Medicare rebate for sessions via telehealth.
